Overview
SBM Management is looking to hire a Back End Developer to join their Corporate Team! This position researches, designs, and implements solutions for challenging problems. This person will work in a development environment while focused on back-end database programming responsibilities. This position will require working in a medium level of risk, complexity and visibility.
Responsibilities
Plan, test, develop and implement, debug and support database’s
Assist with design, implementation, and performance (scaling) of our APIs.
Must understand the different delivery platforms such as mobile vs desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform.
Solve business problems through creative and forward looking solution delivery
Analyze, determine and utilize creative problem solving abilities in approaching developmental tasks
User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments. Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability.
Assist with integration of multiple data sources, data transformation and databases into one system.
Building reusable code and libraries for future use.
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools and techniques, and automated build / release solutions.
Be driven to have a deep understanding of what you and your teammates are working on, why it is important and how your software technology accomplishes business goals.
Able to adapt to meet the rapid pace of an evolving environment.
Work with product management, design and quality assurance as your partners.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, and directing work; performance evaluations; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Ensure employees are properly trained on tasks and safety requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, or a related field from a four-year college or university with 3-5 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
May be required to have a valid driver’s license.
Industry certification a plus
Available Shift: Full Time
